Head of Strategy

Naomi oversees the development, delivery and evaluation of our core activities and strategic collaborations across Research, Education and Knowledge Exchange.


Anna Fitzpatrick

Project Coordinator (on maternity leave)

Anna works alongside Prof. Helen Storey coordinating the research and curriculum development that working in Za’atari has enabled. The urgency of the Climate Emergency plays in an important role in this work.


Charley Copperthwaite

Knowledge Exchange Officer (Sustainability)

Charley co-creates sustainability-led projects with our industry partners. She supports in driving sustainability forward in fashion and championing education in this arena.


Katelyn Toth-Fejel

CSF Design School Associate

Katelyn is a designer, artist, lecturer and PhD researcher whose work centres on localism and the everyday social aspects of fashion and sustainability.


Dr Mila Burcikova

Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Research Development Lead, Centre for Sustainable Fashion

Mila’s research investigates alternatives to the current fashion system. Her current projects focus on the connections between fashion and agriculture, rural fashion systems, and the role of time and cyclical patterns in sustainable living.

Working across design, science & technology in service to humanitarian sector.


Nina Stevenson

Head of Education

Nina is an educator who enjoys collaborating with others to develop complex sustainability ideas into creative and measurable learning in online and offline spaces.


Lou Budd

Education Projects Coordinator and Knowledge Exchange Project Manager

Lou coordinates and manages collaborative projects across CSF’s Education and Knowledge Exchange teams.


Eve Flitman

Centre Coordinator and Knowledge Exchange Officer (Sustainability)

Eve provides administrative support to Dilys Williams for projects, bids and proposals. Additionally, Eve supports the CSF Director with event preparation, systems management and project research.


Camilla Palestra - FHEA

Curatorial Associate

As Curatorial Associate, Camilla works on exhibitions, artists residencies, art and design commissions, including the ongoing AER Art for the Environment International Residency Programme.


Dr Francesco Mazzarella

Senior Lecturer in Fashion and Design for Social Change

Francesco’s research spans the fields of fashion activism, decolonising fashion, fashion sustainability, design for social change, and place-making. He also teaches in a number of courses across LCF.

Seher is a design practitioner, researcher and facilitator. She has 15 years’ experience working at grass roots level craft development in marginalised communities with thriving material cultures.


Nicole Zisman

Project Administrator – Decolonising Fashion and Textiles

Nicole is a fashion designer, visual artist and equalities researcher addressing the body in physical and digital culture. She is especially interested in the visuality of assimilation, and seeks to challenge the notion of a fixed truth that ‘seeing is knowing.’
