Matilda Aspinall
She/Her/Hers
Associate Lecturer (UAL: LCF; CSM; CCW) and co-owner of Sean O'Flynn Shirtmakers, Savile Row, London.
Matilda is a designer-maker, researcher and lecturer; teaching at UAL: London College of Fashion, Chelsea College of Art and Design and Central St Martins.
Her cross disciplinary research and fashion practice demonstrates that historically inspired re-fashioning techniques can be applied in a contemporary context as a creative means of reducing textile waste and prolonging the life of redundant or unwanted garments.
