Hannah Gilbert

Hannah Gilbert is Director of Sustainability within the British Business Bank working integrate sustainability into the Bank’s finance programmes, with a particular focus on equity.

Hannah has a track record in at the nexus of technology, innovation and impact. She started her career in commercial roles in telecoms and technology. She has since worked in a range of innovation, operational and strategy roles for organisations including ‘3’, HM Treasury, ShareAction and Phoenix Group as well as advising sustainability-focused start-ups.

Hannah has a MSc Economics, a Masters in Sustainable Tourism (Distinction) and an Executive MBA (Distinction).  She is passionate about governance and decision-making along the finance value chain to deliver better outcomes for all.  Hannah is also an angel investor and qualified yoga teacher.
