Indigenous Arctic Fish Skin Heritage: Sustainability, Craft and Material Innovation.
Elisa is a designer, researcher and educator, with 25 years’ experience in the fashion luxury industry, holding positions previously at John Galliano and Christian Dior.

In 2010 Elisa launched her own label showing at New York, Milan, Rome, Madrid and London fashion weeks. Since 2012 Elisa has been a researcher and educator at Central Saint Martins, UAL, and a Fulbright Scholar at the Smithsonian Institute, Arctic Studies Center. Her research interests include Education for Sustainability in Design, Intangible Cultural Heritage, Material Innovation, Indigenous Peoples, Participatory Design, Fishskin.
