Challenging what we learn
Educating towards equilibrium in ecology, society and culture
Information is the key to innovation. Competitive advantage is not based on being the holder of knowledge in this area, it is shared knowledge that becomes powerful and distinctive when creatively applied. Through challenging what and how we learn, we can empower the next generation of fashion professionals to employ creativity to challenge practices and redefine our motivations and aspirations for the fashion industry.
The job of the creative designer is exciting, powerful and joyful. It requires creative intelligence around sustainability for us to teach and learn a practice that is considerate of our future needs and our world’s vital needs, whilst enriching this creativity. As we redefine the role of design in fashion, we must look across disciplines to each other for ideas and inspiration to fulfill the possibilities for the future.
