University of the Arts London is a vibrant world centre for innovation, drawing together six Colleges with international reputations in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts.

This is the opportunity to be part of an organisation which offers the stimulus to provoke, challenge and question the fashion statue quo. The Centre for Sustainable Fashion works to design transforming solutions that balance ecology, society and culture. It offers a leading forum for understanding and developing future sustainability in the UK fashion industry and its international platform of operation.

Working alongside the Director of the Centre for Sustainable Fashion, you will help to develop forward delivery strategies and identify new business and third stream income generating business opportunities. You will also manage and maintain our website, instigating original content, developing the database, links and collaborations, updating where necessary and ensuring key targets are met. Proposing and co-ordinating marketing activities effectively will be key to your success.

Self-motivated and highly proactive, you will bring extensive knowledge of administrative and financial office systems and procedures. Experience of working in a role that includes marketing, PR and business development activities is vital. As well as an understanding of the problems and opportunities which face the fashion industry, in terms of both the environmental and ethical impact, you will be able to spot and develop new business opportunities. If you have experience of working with initiatives to develop awareness of the complexities of sustainable fashion development, all the better.

In return, we offer a competitive employment package including a salary that reflects working in London; annual leave; a final salary pension scheme; and a commitment to your continuing personal and career development in an environment that encourages creativity, diversity and excellence.
