A message from the Slow Fashion Forward team
We are an international team of three researchers completing our Masters in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability in Sweden. Our research focus is how to bring momentum to the Slow Fashion movement and we need your help. We are also working to uncover principles of Slow Fashion. We are developing our second draft with an expert team and we will soon need your feedback. As you know, Slow Fashion is a movement within the larger fashion industry that acknowledges its impacts on society and the environment by designing, producing and consuming fashion responsibly. It is slow, because it strives to decelerate the current rate of fashion production and consumption. Slow Fashion aims to truly meet human needs such as creativity, identity and participation and aims to preserve biological and cultural diversity. We are simply interested researchers that are inherently a part of this industry by utilizing garments in our everyday life. We believe that everyone should have access to the knowledge to make good decisions, whether designing garments, producing them, or purchasing.
