Small co-operatives all over the world are producing fashion and textile products to high standards. At the same time, co-operative and fair trade structures ensure that the benefits of sales go directly to the people, and their families, who need them the most.
The Ethical Fashion Forum (EFF) are running a seminar to highlight how fashion businesses, from small designer businesses to the largest high street retailers, as well as the luxury sector, have built effective partnerships with small co-operatives. There will be speakers from People Tree, Made and Trading for Development as well as representatives from co-operative suppliers. The seminar will be a chance to learn how you can produce high quality, outstanding collections which will succeed commercially while changing lives.
The seminar is on TUESDAY 21st APRIL at RICH MIX, Bethnal Green, E1 6LA. It starts at 6p.m.
